Show & Tell

A few months ago, Sydney's sweet friend Emma called Josh to ask if he would be her show & tell at preschool (she is in the 4 year old class with her twin sister Molly). Since their mom, Maria, is an ICU nurse, the girls' teacher asked that both Josh & Maria come to school in their uniforms and talk about their jobs. It's taken a few months to find a week when they both had off the same days, and this week it finally happened. Josh & Maria came to Molly & Emma's class on Monday, and then Sydney's class on Tuesday. Annie & I just came to check them out and take pictures. The kids got a kick out of playing with Josh's handcuffs & flashlights (he thankfully kept the taser & gun out of sight from curious 3, 4, & 5 year olds) & with Maria's stethescope! It was fun to watch the two of them interact with the kids and talk about "stranger danger" in addition to showing off their cool equipment. The funniest part was when Mrs. Earhart asked Emma what her mommy does at work and her reply was "she hands people stuff." We took lots of pictures and here are a few of our favorites!
