On Monday, November 8th, 2004, Josh and I arrived at the hospital at 7am to be induced, a week past her due date. Our little bundle was born late that night weighing in at exactly six pounds. She was perfect in every way . . .
A beautiful baby, funny little toddler, and now a sweet little girl full of personality, she has brought more joy to our lives than we ever imagined! At four years old she loves to play dress up, loves her family and friends, and is learning all sorts of interesting things every day. She loves to sing and dance and her diversity of music astonishes even me - anything from Johnny Cash and Ring of Fire to America the Beautiful, and she has learned the art of performance very well from her Nina. She's really into heaven, seeing Jesus and walking the streets of gold, and along with that is very excited to meet Bob Hope when we get there (after Jesus comes down in a hot air balloon to pick us up). I love that each day after preschool, the first thing out of her mouth is "I missed you Annie" and it is usually followed by "Mom, I REALLY like Brandon." She is such a sweetheart, always whispering in my ear "I love you mom, you are the best" and she has become my little helpmate in life. Whether it be cooking with me, picking up after Annie, shopping, or snuggling at night after Josh has left for work, she is always there with her sweet little voice asking millions of questions along the way.
Today we will celebrate Sydney's 4th birthday. Time has flown by and our sweet little baby has grown into a funny and thoughtful little girl. We love you Sydney Rae and can't wait to watch you continue to grow this next year!
