We had a blast last night trick-or-treating with Josh's sister and crew, and our mommies (our dad's missed out on the due to hunting & working late - bummer for them). I made pizza for dinner and then we frantically dressed 6 kids under six before heading out in our neighborhood. It was so fun teaching our rookies the ropes . . . and sharing their candy once we got home! I think Annie loved it more than anyone else and Nolan managed to go the whole mile long trek without walking more than a few steps (a major feat for a 4 year old). I was proud of my little farm girls and their costumes too - it was a last minute decision and Annie helped me get it all together on Thursday. It definitely gets the best ever Halloween award. We love having Josh's sis home after a long stint in Wyoming. The kids love their cousins (and they've managed to wrangle their way into my heart too).
While it was great fun, I'm glad my house is quiet and clean! I threw a baby shower this morning and pulled an almost all nighter trying to get my house clean and food prepped. Unfortunately I spaced taking pictures of the event, but it was a fun morning with my aunt & cousins. Nap time was welcomed today with open arms by all. Since Josh is away hunting for the weekend, we've had girl bonding over nail polish, the Kit Kitteridge American Girl Movie (so cute), and even a little dance time. =)

The Whole Gang (Farmer Annie, Batman Grant, Farmer Syd, Ducky Sam, Duck Cheerleader Grace, and Sheriff Nolan . . . and Josh's pumpkin)
